HOW WILL YOU HELP DRIVE THE FUTURE OF NATURAL GAS?
The Mgr Operations - Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) & Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) will lead the RNG and CNG operations team members aligning with the company's vision, mission, and goals. Key responsibilities include budgeting and overseeing daily operations of the RNG processing plant, CNG fill stations, and natural gas compressor stations. Implement business plan goals to meet or exceed financial targets while ensuring regulatory compliance and managing owner/operator relations.
What You Need To Succeed•Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field. (In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree additional 4 years of experience will be considered.)
•Valid Florida Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
•6 years of related experience in progressively more complex leadership positions in energy or gas utility.
•Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking and decision-making skills, and the capability to take actions that meet the needs of the department and the company.
•Effective management of financial/budgetary, inventory, and personnel resources.
•Understanding of regulatory impact to natural gas or electric utility operations.
•Active listening, effective speaking and excellent communication skills in both one-on-one and group settings.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
•Oversees team members involved in the daily operations of the RNG processing plant, CNG fill stations, and natural gas compressor stations.
•Collaborate with maintenance teams to establish preventive maintenance schedules and improve the effectiveness of the computerized maintenance management system.
•Interpret piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and field drawings to identify system or pipeline issues and support contractors, engineers, and vendors in both operational and emergency situations.
•Design and implement training methods, materials, and programs related to facility operating standards, safety, and pipeline compliance.
•Ensure the availability of an adequate inventory of tools and supplies to operate the facilities.
•Act as site lead for FERC/PHMSA pipeline compliance and provide oversight to existing pipeline subcontractors.
•Compile data and information and prepare monthly site operational, compliance and safety reports.
•Manage budgeting, remaining at/or below proposed budgets for O&M and Capital expenditure.

Emergecny Response Requirements
TECO Energy and its companies serve a role in providing critical services to our community during an emergency. Team members are required to participate in the response/recovery activities related to emergencies/disasters to maintain service to our TECO Energy customers. Team members are required to work in their normal job duties or other assigned activities. Proper compensation will be made in accordance with the company's rules and procedures.
The successful applicant will be required to take and pass a Baseline Medical Examination as part of the pre-employment screening once an offer has been accepted.
