We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on Operations Manager to lead our Metrology team in Artesia or Carlsbad, NM. What You’ll Do
•Serve as the primary contact for SPL’s established customers in assigned region;
•Address customer issues, initiate corrective action reports, and follow through on resolution;
•Interview, hire, train, and manage measurement technicians;
•Manage technician vehicles, equipment, and local inventory;
•Ensure facilities, service centers, equipment, and vehicles meet SPL’s cleanliness and brand standards;
•Conduct routine customer visits to assess satisfaction and align on expectations;
•Maintain and communicate work schedules; notify customers and internal teams of any changes;
•Maintain company-issued property (tools, vehicle, laptop, PPE, etc.);
•Submit accurate and timely paperwork for services performed;
•Uphold a strong culture of safety and operational accuracy;
•Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
What Makes You a Great Fit
•High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred;
•2–4 years of relevant experience or combination of training and education;
•Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record;
•Strong electrical and/or mechanical aptitude;
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills;
•Strong written and verbal communication abilities;
•Ability to perform basic math and data interpretation;
•Capable of working independently and managing several priorities simultaneously;
•Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures, including extreme heat or cold.

Your Schedule and The Fine Print
•Full-time position following a standard Monday through Friday schedule with 8-hour shifts;
•Flexibility to work 8–16 hour shifts to support business needs, including weekends and holidays as part of an “on-call” rotation;
