On-Site Project Cost Controller – Austin, TX (Tesla Facilities)

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive On-Site Project Cost Controller

to support construction projects located at

. This role is responsible for monitoring, controlling, and reporting all financial aspects of the project directly on-site. The Cost Controller works closely with project managers, site engineers, and the finance team to manage budgets, track costs, forecast financial performance, and ensure projects remain within approved financial plans.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, manage, and monitor project budgets and forecasts

- Track daily project costs (labor, materials, subcontractors)

- Prepare and deliver accurate daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports

- Identify cost variances, risks, and recommend corrective actions

- Review and approve purchase orders, change orders, invoices, and client submissions

- Ensure compliance with contracts, company policies, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Construction Management, or related field

- 3–5 years of cost control or financial management experience in construction (on-site experience preferred)

- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial systems (e.g., Oracle NetSuite) and advanced Excel
