We are seeking a skilled Metal Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication, with a focus on quality and precision. This role involves working with various raw metal materials being sold to consumers. Ensuring adherence to safety standards and operational efficiency.

Duties

- Operate machinery and tools used in metalworking, including but not limited to, bandsaws, cut off wheels, table saw, measuring tape, hand tools and forklifts.

- Utilize warehouse management systems for tracking inventory and managing orders.

- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to ensure efficient shipping and receiving processes.

- Package finished products for distribution while maintaining quality control standards.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

- Assist in training new employees on equipment operation and safety practices as needed.

Skills

- Proficient in operating forklifts.

- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.

- Experience with warehouse management systems to streamline operations.

- Familiarity with distribution center processes, including shipping and receiving functions.

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team under the supervision of warehouse management.

- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
