Mobile Equipment Operator

Location: Rapid City, SD

Pete Lien & Sons, Inc., a leader in multi-state mining, mineral processing, and construction materials, is looking for a Mobile Equipment Operator to join our team in our Black Hawk Quarry. Whether you’re an experienced operator or looking to start a new career, we provide the tools and training to help you succeed!

About the Role:

- Handle equipment for drilling, blasting, crushing, screening, and material transport.

- Move raw and finished materials efficiently, keeping accurate records.

- Perform basic preventive maintenance and minor repairs to equipment.

- Collaborate with others to meet production goals and adapt to changing priorities.

- Inspect and sample materials to ensure they meet production standards.

- Assist with additional quarry operations, including general labor tasks and housekeeping.

What We’re Looking For:

- A valid driver’s license.

- The ability to perform physically demanding work and adapt to exposure to noise, dust, and varying weather conditions.

- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

- A positive, dependable attitude and a commitment to safety and professionalism.

- Heavy equipment experience is helpful but not required. We’ll train you!

- Willingness to undergo pre-employment background check, drug screening, and medical exam.
