Operating in a Northern British Columbia mining environment on a two week in/two week out shift rotation, the Miner 2 is an integral part of the mining operation at the Silvertip Operation.

- Operation of LHD Equipment;
- Installation of ground support materials using Robolter
- Ability to load rounds with little or no supervision
- Assist with other activities involved in the mining cycle;
- Assist with maintenance repairs as required;
- Perform pre-operational checks, and operate equipment according to Safe Operating Procedures;
- Monitor equipment and processes and ensure equipment deficiencies and operational issues are reported clearly;
- Conduct trouble shooting activities when problems arise;
Complete Operator Report Sheets and Daily Logbooks.
- Five (5) years’ experience in underground cut/fill operations;
- Ability to read, interpret and follow mine plan documentation;
- Ability to operate LHD equipment, Robolter, and a Jackleg/Stoper;
- Ability to perform all functions of a Miner 3;
- Valid driver's license;
Physically fit to perform the duties of the position.
- Willing to work a two-week rotation schedule, with 12-hour shifts per day at a remote camp.
Our current designated marshalling locations are Vancouver, Kelowna, Nanaimo, Calgary, Edmonton, Whitehorse, Teslin, and Watson Lake.
