Job Summary: This position requires 1–3 years of welding experience with demonstrated ability to perform MIG and stick welding on a variety of metals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of welding safety practices, be able to read and interpret blueprints, and produce accurate, high-quality welds with minimal supervision.
The Mid-Level Welder will work on fabricating, repairing, and assembling metal components, ensuring compliance with company standards and project specifications. This role is well-suited for individuals who have progressed beyond entry-level welding, are confident in their technical abilities, and are motivated to continue developing advanced skills in fabrication and metalworking.
- Perform welding operations using various welding techniques such as MIG, Stick & Air-Arc
- Ensure proper maintenance and cleaning of welding equipment
- Inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify defects or deviations from specifications
- Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and regulations while performing welding tasks
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
- Completion of a vocational or technical program in welding preferred
- Knowledge of various welding techniques and equipment
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform welding tasks for extended periods of time
- Frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, heat, and outside weather conditions
- Basic math skills for calculating measurements and dimensions
- Willingness to learn and improve welding skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
