Legend Technical Services, a diversified analytical environmental laboratory, is now hiring for an Entry Level/Microbiologist 1. This is an exciting opportunity for a new college grad or someone wishing to enter the Microbiology Field. This position has a required schedule of Tuesday through Saturday after basic training has been completed. Other duties are as follows:

Pay: $20.00 per hour

- Performing assigned microbiological analyses from initiation to reporting

- Ensuring completion of laboratory tasks within the required time frame

- Responsible for thorough documentation of analyses according to method and/or regulatory requirements

- Analysis of drinking water, wastewater, hazardous waste, food, air, and miscellaneous samples according to the method and/or regulatory requirements outlined in the SOP

- Analysis of total coliform, fecal coliform, plate count, and fungal samples; higher level analyses performed under the supervision of a Microbiologist II or department manager.

- Experience with environmental fungal analysis a plus, but not required

Required Skills:

· Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology, Biology, or other biological science.

Preferred Skills:

· Experience with environmental fungal analysis a plus, but not required
