Are you in? Primary Purpose:
Lead a regional transmission planning team with a focus on analysis and development of projects for reliable integration of large transmission load requests in multiple Exelon transmission zones. Coordinate with the Economic & Technical Studies, Regional Planning, and Strategy & Contract teams to analyze the system and to generate an outlook for the transmission system including aspects related to safety, reliability, economics, operability and NERC compliance, etc. The study results provided by the team and other analytical expertise will aid the Exelon Utilities organization in the implementation of strategic projects. Primary job responsibilities include overseeing the modeling and analysis of large transmission load requests, creating new transmission projects, running a comprehensive set of stead-state load flow analysis, coordinating and confirming results with internal and external entities (ISO, RF, etc.), fostering and maintaining an environment that promotes safety, diversity, high productivity and environmental stewardship. Position may be required to work extended hours for coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.
Note: This is a hybrid position (in-office with remote flexibility). Employees are required to be in office at least three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). This position must sit out of our Philadelphia -PA, Baltimore - MD, Washington – DC, Kennett Square - PA or Newark - DE office. This position is eligible for relocation assistance.
