PCWA is seeking a dynamic individual to perform a variety of vehicle and equipment repair, overhaul and maintenance activities, including vehicle inspection, diagnosis, fleet maintenance inventory and record keeping. Our ideal candidate will possess three years of experience maintaining and repairing vehicles and will possess, or be willing to obtain within 18 months of appointment, a valid Class A California driver’s license. They also must possess a valid California Air Resources Board Heavy-Duty Inspection and Maintenance (HD I/M) Tester Training Certificate before completion of the probationary period Visit our website for detailed recruitment information and to complete the on-line application: www.pcwa.net. Individuals appointed to these positions will be classified as temporary employees and will not accrue regular status or seniority with the Agency. In accordance with provisions of the federal Affordable Care Act and CalPERS requirements, employees in these positions will be eligible for group health care benefits and CalPERS membership with the Agency.

This recruitment will result in an eligible list of candidates to be used to fill one full-time limited-term, temporary position in support of ongoing projects. This position will be filled for a period not to exceed 17 months, based on the plans and progress of the projects.
