This position is responsible for leading marketing strategies and strategic communications plans, supporting stakeholder relations activities, and providing supervision to team members. This position reports to the Director, Stakeholder Relations and Communications.
- Manage Newfoundland Power's relationship with the Agency of Record, including oversight of campaigns, media buys, performance measurement reports and other elements as needed.
- Oversee marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with Newfoundland Power's brand and values.
- Ensure brand consistency across platforms and materials.
- Lead development and execution of strategic communications plans.
- Provide oversight to internal and external communications initiatives, as well as community partnerships.
- Support stakeholder engagement activities with governments, industry, news media and other key stakeholders to drive engagement, build relationships and grow Newfoundland Power's brand presence.
- Provide support to the Director as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field.
- 5-10 years' experience in marketing, strategic communications, government relations, stakeholder engagement or related roles.
- 3-5 years of leadership experience is preferred.
- Excellent writing and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.
