Role Overview
Select and apply leadership and technical support for field service controls engineering techniques and procedures in the installation, modification, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting and startup of gas/steam turbines. Coordination and schedule controls engineering resources to support outage requirements. Support and assist with training development of all experience levels of current and future controls engineers.

Key Responsibilities
•Demonstrates our core competencies: Action oriented, change champion, customer-focused, developing self & others, and ownership
•Schedule, Coordinate and Assign Controls Engineering resources.
•Interface with Field Service, LTSA, TGO and Tomoni Hub for emergent and emergency work scope and acquire (related tooling) equipment.
•Provide start-up, commissioning, operations and/or troubleshooting support for equipment failures, determine root cause, implement solutions.
•Provide calibration of field devices such as verification of slot assignment, output, transmitter, failsafe structure, connections, display, system/loop check, operational, functional and tuning.
•Support as required of “In-House” training program for Mitsubishi Power control systems.
•Assure proficiency level of Controls Engineering personnel by scheduling, coordinating and assigning Controls Engineer personnel for training.
•Support customer training programs/initiatives and support training of customer personnel as required.
•Develop and maintain a Skill Level Matrix Database.
•Develop and maintain a man-power plan to incorporate Mitsubishi Power expansion.
•Aid in the development of the service engineering annual budget.
•Communicate and provide technical assistance for the interpretation and application of Mitsubishi Power drawings, field procedures, quality control, and technical documents.
•Provide leadership in support of Mitsubishi Power development program; assist with recruiting initiatives to grow the controls team associated with the development program.
•Perform other such duties as may be required

•Always maintain the highest degree of honesty and integrity.
•Overnight travel (20%) both domestic and international by land and/or air.
Requirements
•Bachelor's degree (BA) in Engineering from four-year college or university; or at least five (5) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
•Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
•Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
•Knowledge of databases, project management, spreadsheet and word processing software, electronic mail, graphics, technical diagrams, flow charts, etc.
