About the Role:
We are actively hiring for an Equipment Operator I to support production in a cleanroom environment for a leading medical device manufacturer. You will be responsible for safely operating simple automated assembly machines and maintaining consistent product quality.
Note: Previous experience with machine/equipment operation and Electro-Assembly is required. Injection Molding experience is a HUGE PLUS.
Key Responsibilities:
•Operate automated and semi-automated equipment to assemble medical devices
•Start machines from a powered-off state and respond appropriately to machine faults
•Set up work orders and enter data in electronic batch record and inventory systems
•Perform basic inspections and testing to ensure product quality
•Complete production documentation accurately
•Clean and maintain equipment and work area
•Operate multiple machines and learn new equipment with ease
•Perform weighing, counting, packaging, and labeling of finished products
Machine Types You May Operate:
•Press & torque fitment machines
•Low-complexity, low-attention machines with minimal adjustments
•Machines with <10 stations
Required Qualifications:
•High School Diploma, GED, or Employment Assessment
•Must be 18+ years of age
•Experience in machine/equipment operation is required
•Electro-Assembly experience is required
•Injection Molding experience is highly preferred
Preferred Skills:
•Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
•Ability to read and follow written procedures
•Strong attention to detail
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
•Must be able to stand or sit for entire shift
•Must be able to lift/move items up to 20 lbs
•May work with solvents, glue, or solder
•Requires use of magnification tools for visual inspections

Pay: $19.00 - $19.50 per hour
