YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

You will be reporting to Superintendent, and you will be part of the Maintenance Department. You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

- Completed & ongoing competence with required core modules: Staging, Drilling, Rock bolting, Blasting, Operate Scoop, extend services, Operate Utility Vehicle, Fall Arrest Training. Per the KLG Underground Mining Classification Guideline

- Competently perform all Mining 4 functions (Production/Development)

- Demonstrate competence in relevant UG Hardrock common core

- Housekeeping – keep work areas clean free from hazards

- Communication – listen to and communicate with others, keep accurate records on zero harm 5-point card, aligning with daily tasks

- Teamwork – work with others to meet and where possible exceed daily KPI’s set by Supervisor

- All other duties as may be assigned

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Miner 4 or equivalent

- Physically Fit, self-starter with a can-do attitude

- Tolerance for hot, cold and humid environments

- UG Comon Core (Ontario)

Your Work Schedule:

- Schedule: 7 days of work, followed by 7 days off, at our Macassa Mine in Kirkland Lake, ON.
