The work location is in Nunavik and the normal work schedule is 11 hours per day on a rotation of 4 weeks: 2 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 2 weeks for rest.

Reporting to the Underground Mine Captain, the supervisor has the following responsibilities in particular:
- Plan, organize, manage material and human resources at the drilling, blasting, withdrawal, and backfilling level.
- Monitor the quality of work performed in accordance with the company's quality and profitability objectives.
- Manage and mobilize a team of around 20 people; lead complex cases and resolve conflicts in his department.
- Participate in human resources management practices (workforce planning, recruitment, management of disciplinary measures, staff evaluation, etc.).
- Develop and maintain a network with local stakeholders.
- Assist the contractor in his daily needs.
- Meet the company's health and safety requirements and recommendations.
- Perform other related tasks associated with this position.
- Hold a college diploma (DEC) in mining, or equivalent.
- Have a Minimum of 10 years of experience in underground mining, including 5 years as a supervisor.
- Have strong skills in planning, leadership, and personnel management.
- Be able to take a position in more complex cases in conflict management and project management.
- Business acumen and a sense of excellence in customer service.
- Hold the mining modules (FMTM 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7).
- Hold a valid general explosive permit.
- Bilingualism (French and functional English).
- Hold a valid class 5 driving license.
- Accredited training in mine rescue and first aid in the workplace.
- Experience in the mining sector in northern Quebec.
- Work with a diverse a multi-cultural team.
