Blueprint Inspections is seeking an experienced Level II Inspector to perform detailed inspections on oilfield equipment and components. This position requires prior inspection experience, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to work independently while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.
- Perform advanced visual, dimensional, and functional inspections on oilfield tools and equipment
- Interpret inspection criteria, customer specifications, and industry standards
- Identify, document, and report defects, damage, and nonconformance
- Accurately complete inspection reports and certification documentation
- Verify inspection results and ensure compliance with applicable standards
- Assist with training and mentoring Entry-Level and Level I Inspectors
- Coordinate with supervisors, customers, and shop personnel as needed
- Maintain calibration and proper use of inspection tools and gauges
- Follow all Blueprint Inspections and OSHA safety requirements- Minimum 2+ years inspection experience in oilfield or industrial environments
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong understanding of inspection procedures and quality standards
- Ability to read technical drawings, specifications, and inspection criteria
- Proficient with inspection tools, gauges, and measurement devices
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a shop or field environment
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused
- Level II certification (visual, dimensional, NDT, or equivalent)
- Experience inspecting tubulars, drilling tools, BHA components, or pressure equipment
- Familiarity with API, DS-1, or customer-specific standards
