Overview / Responsibilities

Dupree Energy is currently looking for Pumpers/Lease Operators who have experience in the Oil and Gas Industry. This position will be located in Carlsbad, NM.

U.S. Only: Authorization to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship required.Skills / Qualifications

Responsibilities:

- Inspect gas and oil wells, tanks, meters, separators, compressors, and attached piping components for leaks or unusual conditions and taking corrective actions

- Access remote locations to check wells, maintain normal operating levels, pressures and flow on separation equipment, making adjustments to automatic and manual controls

- Gauge tanks for sale or transfer of crude oil and water

- Operate rental compressors, flowing gas wells, gas lift wells, and test wells

- Utilize electronic remote well supervision to optimize production and reduce Safety & Environmental impact

- Maintain chemical injection rates, start up and shut in wells

- Enter daily volumes, well tests, downtime and injection information into a computer database

- Monitor daily production inputs into electronic data gathering software and comparing input data with output data for correctness

- Monitor and optimizing production and costs within area of control

- Minor hands on production equipment repairs

- Operate a company-provided vehicle to perform job duties in a safe manner

Requirements:

- Adhere to all Safety, Environmental, and company policies and procedures

- Legally authorized to work in the United States

- High school diploma/GED

- Valid driver's license

- Pass Drug Test

- Willingness and ability to perform/comply with the following:

- To work in temperature extremes or adverse weather conditions

- To work in several different geographic locations each day

- To work both in and out of a company-owned vehicle

- To wear appropriate special safety equipment

- To walk, bend, stoop and lift

- To use hand tools to make minor repairs

Preferred Qualifications:

- Work independently with minimum supervision

- Satisfactory safety record and knowledge of safety rules and practices

- Ability to utilize laptop PC and applicable software programs

- Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions and communicate to others in a understandable fashion

- Ability to prepare accurate and legible reports

- Ability to read and understand production and financial reports

- Ability to react to visual and aural signals, alarms, and instructions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
