S-FAB Fabrication Inc. is growing and we are looking for a talented Laser Operator to join our team! We offer competitive salary and benefits for our dynamic team. Facility is located in Georgetown.

DAY SHIFT: Monday to Friday: 7 am to 3:30 pm

AFTERNOON SHIFT: Monday to Friday: 3:30 pm to 11:00 pm

Responsibilities

- Set up, operate and program laser machine utilizing various CNC programs.

- Must have 5 years experience with maintenance and trouble shooting on lasers.

- Carry out quality checks on an ongoing basis to ensure job is within tolerance.

- Follow and participate in 4DX activities.

- Follow and participate in 5S activities.

- Ensure pre-start checks are complete.

- Perform daily and weekly maintenance / troubleshooting of laser equipment as required.

- Meet tight deadlines and production needs as required.

- Responsible for troubleshooting programming problems on machine.

- Utilize material handling equipment as required.

- Experience with jib cranes and overhead cranes.

- Forklift certified operator.

- Adhere to established quality and housekeeping standards.

- All other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

- Previous exposure to Laser operations.

- Previous related automotive manufacturing experience an asset.

- High School Diploma or equivalent.

- Ability to lift and handle heavy objects, including continuous standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing for 8-hour shift.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
