**Job Title:** Laborer / Cleanup Crew  
**Location:** New Frontier Limestone Quarry

The Surface Maintenance Technician is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of surface equipment and facilities at our coal mining site. This role ensures that all surface operations run smoothly and efficiently, adhering to safety and environmental standards

### **Position Overview:**

New Frontier is seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join our team as Laborer / Cleanup Crew members at our limestone quarry. This entry-level role is critical to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. Candidates will support various operations throughout the site and may have the opportunity to grow into more advanced roles based on skill development and site needs.

### **Key Responsibilities:**

* Perform general labor and cleanup tasks throughout the quarry and plant areas
* Remove debris, excess rock, and dust buildup to maintain a clean and hazard-free worksite
* Support equipment operators, plant maintenance staff, and other personnel as needed
* Follow all safety guidelines and site procedures strictly
* Assist with basic maintenance duties, including shoveling, sweeping, and minor mechanical support
* Operate small tools and equipment safely and responsibly
* Report hazards or equipment issues to supervisors immediately
* Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

### **Preferred Skills & Experience (Not Required, But Preferred):**

* Experience in drilling, roof bolting, or hand scaling
* Knowledge of plant maintenance and repair work
* Welding and cutting torch experience
* Mechanical aptitude or familiarity with heavy equipment
* Previous experience in mining, aggregate, or heavy industrial settings

### **Qualifications:**

* Must be able to work in outdoor environments and physically demanding conditions
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for long periods
* Reliable transportation to and from the job site
* Willingness to learn and take direction
* Commitment to safety and teamwork

### **Work Conditions:**

* Exposure to dust, noise, heavy machinery, and changing weather conditions
* Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times
* Rotating shifts or extended hours may be required depending on production needs
