Position Overview
The Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) industry is quickly evolving, and we need energized people just like YOU to bring us to the next level. In exchange for your Fourth Class Power Engineering certificate, dedication to safety and ability to make great decisions under stress, we’ve got perks you just can’t refuse! Come join us as an LNG Operator at our LNG facility at Mt. Hayes , located between Ladysmith and Nanaimo, BC on Vancouver Island .
The LNG Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operations of our LNG Plant. You will be responsible for operations of a wide variety of equipment such as LNG storage tanks, pumps, and more.
In this role, you will:
+ Progression from an LNG Operator 2 to a LNG Operator 1 ($51.04 hourly) will be dependent upon demonstrated competence to carry out all aspects of the job (typically 1 year). This will include successful completion of LNG Level 2 Competency Program and a hands-on operating test to demonstrate proficiency.
