Primary Purpose
Responsible for the management and the coordination of commercial aspects of internal and external interfaces for company liquefied natural gas (LNG) project(s). Implements process efficiencies and lessons learned into the day-to-day management of the project(s). Works cross functionally with project ares to track project performance and develop solutions for issues and forecasted issues Develops and utilizes interface management plans to track and monitor: (1) deliverables, (2) schedules, (3) correspondence. Maintains associated documentation all in accordance with the Project Execution Plan. Utilizes standardized project control processes and tools.
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage, support, and coordinate all internal and external project related interfaces. External interfaces include investor members (equity partners), land owners, contractors, engineering teams and other consultants. Internal interfaces include applicable project related functions such as Operations, Tax, Insurance/Risk, Permitting, and External Affairs.
Consult with all project stakeholders and overall project venture for the completion of activities.
Support the management and updating of the Project Execution Plan.
Support the management and updating of the Project Risk Register.
Collaborate with other members of the project venture, or appropriate stakeholders, as required.
Intervene, analyze, manage and resolve business conflicts.
Coordinate, prepare and disseminate information as required regarding project status, compliance and modifications.
Performs other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties).
Education
Bachelor's Degree Engineering or business. Required
Master's Degree Advanced management or business degree. Preferred
Experience
10+ Related professional experience in energy and project controls or contracts management. Required
Skills and Abilities
Possess comprehensive knowledge of general project and corporate business practices.
Able to advise and interact with all levels of management and become a key member the Port Arthur LNG Project Management Team.
Able to demonstrate excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
Excellent oral and written communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency using Microsoft Office software, Outlook Email, Instant Messaging, SharePoint preferred.
High performing communicator and facilitator used to working in cross-functional groups and a fast paced organization with rapidly changing goals.
Ability to effectively lead, delegate and motivate.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to create a strong, trusting and collaborative interface and coordination environment.
Self-starter with ability to work strategically under little direction.

Other Qualifications
Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC) will be required.
