Program Structure

Most internships are structured as full-time summer positions, with the option for interns to continue as part-time, year-round team members. This flexible arrangement allows students to balance work commitments with their academic schedules. All internships at Cleco are paid, and outstanding performance during the program can lead to full-time employment opportunities.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must be entering their junior year or higher and be enrolled as full-time students in a bachelor’s or master’s program, actively attending classes. If a student’s academic institution requires internships to earn credit, Cleco will collaborate with the school to facilitate the process.
