Performs random independent audits per the Gas Enhanced QA/QC Plan of construction and maintenance related activities related to safety, quality, and productivity, and assures that operating procedures, materials, policies, and procedures are all aligned to prevent future gas safety and quality compliance issues. Interfaces with the construction workforce, public, and regulatory agencies as required. Prepares and communicates reports for various departmental activities. Participates in team meetings to review findings and corrective actions.
- Minimum 5 years of gas distribution & operations experience,
- Demonstrated understanding of utility operations and regulatory requirements,
- Knowledge of Engineering, Construction and Maintenance standards in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Ability to obtain Operator Qualifications for position.
- Work independently on assigned activities
- Proficient in Computer and Digital Tools
- Participate in the implementation of corrective actions
- Participate in monthly meetings with Inspectors, Supervisors, Managers, Contractors reporting on status of findings and corrective action plans
- Track trends and make further recommendations on the Enhanced QA/QC Plan.
- Interface and support Operations, Gas Supply, Regulatory Affairs to achieve relevant Company goals
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels
- Ability to follow up and follow through with action items and dependencies
- Possess the ability to work across organizational lines within the company
- Flexible and willing to step up to take on tasks beyond a job description as required
- Ability to manage competing priorities
