**Inspector Assistant**

Phoenix Technology Services USA Inc. is a progressive and innovative Directional Drilling Company. Driven by our client’s needs, we are committed to providing more efficient and cost-effective drilling operations.

We have an opening for an Inspector Assistant based out of our Houston, TX location. Under the direction of the Inspection Manager, the Inspector Assistant uses a wide range of tools and instruments in the inspection of parts, assemblies, drawings, sketches, and specifications.

**Responsibilities also include:**

* Perform inspection procedures on material, parts and assemblies working from general drawings, sketches and specifications.
* Apply established inspection procedures while using a wide range of tools and instruments.
* Maintain calibration of a variety of pressure gauges and other instruments required for numerous testing applications.
* Communicate in a clear, professional manor with engineers as well as customers.
* Assist other departments with various projects when time permits.
* Perform all duties so as to meet the responsibilities listed in the Employee and Corporate HSE Handbooks.
* Perform duties according to the Company’s quality system procedures and work instructions.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED with 3-5 years of experience in a related field or facility. The successful candidate will be able to use common inspection tools and instruments: SAP, hardness tester. They will be able to work from drawings, sketches and specifications without detailed inspection procedures.
