Industrial Maintenance / Janitorial

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on, motivated individual. Applicants must possess experience with fabrication/manufacturing equipment and their associated functions such as preventative maintenance with punch and brake presses, laser cutting equipment, welding equipment, material handling devices and equipment, power tools, and not limited to mopping, scrubbing cleaning work area etc. Experience in a “just in time” manufacturing environment and credentials confirming such is absolutely required.

Skills and Responsibilities:

-Activating and deactivating building alarms and responding to alarm calls along with, emergencies after and during regular work hours.

-Mastery of hand and power tools. Machining or tool room experience a plus.

-Mechanical ability.

-Carpentry.

-Hydraulic systems.

-Welding and basic metal fabrication

-Electrical and electronic skills are necessary, read schematics. Trouble- shooting skills are critical.

-Equipment installation skills, rigging, moving techniques. Provide installation of various power sources, electrical, hydraulic, Pneumatic, Computer networking, etc.

-Forklift, manlift, overhead crane experience.

-HVAC basic function and maintenance.

-Perform special projects as assigned. Engage in renovations and upgrades.

-Enforce Company and OSHA safety programs.

-Familiarity with maintaining manufacturing initiatives such as “5S”

-Generate work orders, record keeping

Requirements:

-Must have basic computer skills.

-On-call availability for emergencies.

-Some physical exertion both inside the building and outside on the property such as reaching, stretching, carrying, bending, lifting, walking, climbing stairs, driving, snow removal, etc. during winter, spring, summer and fall weather conditions.

-Must pass background check.

-Must pass D&A screening upon employment and subsequent random screening.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
