Thiele Kaolin Company, a leading provider of tailored mineral solutions, is currently recruiting for an E & I Technician. This position is located in Wrens, Georgia.

MAJOR DUTIES:

- Ability to work well with others.

- Willing to follow safety instructions and listen to supervisors.

- Willing to attend training.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

- Two or four-year degree from an accredited school or technical college, or two years’ experience in the electrical maintenance field.

- Experience with AC and DC Drives, variable frequency drives, PLC and motor controls along with all types of electrical phasing.

- Be able to calibrate, clean, troubleshoot, and maintain various types of instrumentation including but not limited to: flow tubes, flow transmitters, DP cells, pH probes, level transmitters, and ozone monitors.

- Be able to troubleshoot and repair magnetic separators by replacing control boards, SCR’s, diodes and other components as necessary working with assistance from outside sources when required.

- Be able to perform preventative maintenance on circuit breakers in various brands of switchgear, switchboards, panel boards, and other service equipment.

- Ability to read and interrupt blueprints and schematics.

- Be able to size thermal overloads for all brands of motor starting equipment.

- Be able to perform preventative maintenance on all brands of motor starting equipment.

- The ability to work independently and in a team environment by receiving and completing work orders; gathering tools and supplies to complete the work assigned
