Solstice Consulting Group is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) for an energy services client based in Houston, Texas. Role is an approximate 6-month Contract to Hire opportunity with 4 days per week in the West Houston office and 1 day remote.
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Management or related field and 7+ years broad HR experience in the energy services or EPC sector
- Hourly rate DOE (40 hours per week W2 basis) plus minimal overtime
- Deliver HR guidance and support to the business unit, ensuring both operational and strategic objectives are met while serving as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, aligning the priorities of the business line with the broader HR goals of the organization.
- Partner with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Provide insights and recommendations on workforce planning, organizational design, and change management.
- Lead performance management processes and coach managers on goal setting and feedback.
- Identify training needs and support leadership development programs.
- Serve as a trusted advisor for employee relations issues.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Conduct investigations and recommend corrective action if needed.
- Consult with managers on salary structures, promotions, and compensation adjustments.
- Support annual compensation planning and benefits communication.
- Advise business unit leaders and serve as point-of-contact for global business units and help implement business unit’s workforce strategy with respect to recruitment, retention, succession planning, engagement, organizational development, etc.
- Embrace continuous improvement and application of new tools and methods in line with People strategy.
- Coordinate closely with other HRBPs to ensure fairness and alignment across the company and support global HR strategy.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Business Administration, or another related field.
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including 4+ years in an HR Generalist or HRBP role
- Experience supporting management and advising on complex HR matters
- Understanding of DFAR, FAR, CUI, and other applicable government regulations.
- Previous experience within an EPC or energy services company preferred.
