Position Summary: This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively across all departments. The position supports management in coordinating events and ensuring a positive experience for employees and visitors.

Responsibilities (including but are not limited to):

- Prepare coffee daily

- Make popcorn weekly for plant employees

- Deliver interoffice mail

- Pick up donuts

- Assist with employee appreciation and charity events to include:

- Monthly appreciation lunches

- Annual Christmas Party

- Yearly Family Fun Event

- Additional activities as scheduled

- Set up meeting rooms and refreshments for visitors

- Track inventory of promotional items

- Assist HR with first day hire and benefit packets

- Provide backup support for reception

- Monthly Newsletter

- Purchase and assemble charitable donation baskets within set budget.

- Maintain Maintenance Logs

- Serve on the charities committee to enhance community involvement within the Merrill Steel organization

Education & Experience:

- Experience in hospitality or event coordination preferred

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: In person
