Heavy Equipment/Skid Steer Shop Mechanic

Northern Clearing is looking to hire a full-time Heavy Equipment/Skid Steer Shop Mechanic to work in our Ashland, WI Office.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

As a heavy equipment/skid steer mechanic, your role will primary be focused on preventative and routine maintenance on Skid Steers, Track Loaders, and Mini Excavators. You will perform tests on specific parts and systems to ensure proper function, plan and establish timeline to complete the work, then replace/install a variety of comments. All completed work will be documented within our work order system. There may be additional duties and/or responsibilities that will be determined by the shop manager.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

The successful candidate will be a hard worker, have a can-do attitude, personable, punctual, and safety minded. The successful candidate will have a general mechanical knowledge in heavy engine machinery, trucks, tractors, and trailers.
