Overview

We are seeking a reliable and versatile Maintenance Person/Laborer to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance, repair, and construction tasks to support residential projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently. Prior experience with general maintenance person tasks is preferred but not required. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills across different trades in a dynamic work environment.

Duties

- Perform general repairs and maintenance on buildings, fixtures, and equipment

- Assist with carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical work, and other maintenance person services

- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks

- Inspect work areas and identify necessary repairs or improvements

- Maintain a clean and organized work site

- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA standards

- Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed for various projects

- Use specialized tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting when required

Skills

- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, including the use of ohmmeters for testing circuits

- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude

- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely

- Good physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks

- Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship

- Effective communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately

- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude towards teamwork
