SCHEDULE: Mon. to Thurs. - 9 hours (in-office)/Friday - 4 hours (remote)
POSITION SUMMARY: The Network Engineer will lead the implementation, monitoring, and support of secure, high-performance networks across our onshore offices and offshore assets. This role ensures reliable connectivity for critical business and field applications including Voice over IP (VoIP), video conferencing, and secure remote access. You will work closely with field IT, cybersecurity, and application teams to deliver optimized network configurations that meet evolving business demands and support compliance with SOX and NIST standards.
The Network Engineer is responsible for maintaining and enhancing complex subsystems within the enterprise LAN/WAN environment. This includes monitoring, coordinating, implementing, maintaining, performance tuning, and recommending specialized procedures for optimal network usage. The Network Engineer also reviews new products or services, performs systems analysis, and evaluates support methodologies for network applications as required. Familiarity with IT/OT/ICS environments and experience in implementing firewall rules, controls, and DMZs to protect the enterprise is essential.
