The HR Coordinator supports the HR Operations team across a broad spectrum of HR functions and responsibilities. The role encompasses processing and administering HR-related tasks, maintaining accurate records and information, and providing essential clerical support to ensure the efficient operation of the HR department. This position is required to be on-site located in San Francisco, CA.
- Support end-to-end HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, employee status changes, compensation updates, and organizational changes.
- Process and track HR transactions and approvals in HRIS and related systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in both digital and physical formats.
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, payroll, benefits, and general HR processes, escalating issues as appropriate.
- Support offboarding processes, including system access coordination, documentation, and exit-related administration.
- Partner with payroll and benefits providers to support accurate payroll processing and benefits administration.
- Assist in compiling payroll-related data such as leaves, bonuses, status changes, and adjustments.
- Support resolution of employee payroll or benefits issues by coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.
- Support compliance initiatives and help ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment regulations.
- Assist with HR audits, documentation requests, and compliance reporting as needed.
- Prepare HR reports, metrics, and data summaries for internal stakeholders and leadership upon request.
- Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of employee and company information at all times.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR workflows, increase operational efficiency, and reduce manual processes.
- Support HR projects, including process enhancements, system updates, and internal initiatives.
- Assist with maintaining standardized HR documentation, templates, and procedures.
- Provide administrative and in-office HR support as needed, including HR inbox management and coordination of HR-related activities.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English (verbal and written).
- College degree from an accredited institution with at least 2 years of corporate office experience or human resources experience
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail with a strong sense of accountability and service mindset.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Outlook.

The salary range is required by the California Pay Transparency Act and may differ depending on the location of those candidates hired nationwide.
