REPSS is a distributor/manufacturers' rep firm of industrial hygiene and occupational health and safety instrumentation. We have been in business for 26 years and work with over 30 leading manufacturers in the EHS/IH industry. We are looking to hire a new regional sales manager for our LA, MS, AL territory.
- Maintain communication with current customers
- Contact prospective customers via phone and email
- Request quotes from inside team
- Answer technical questions and train customers on instruments
- Set appointments and travel to visit current/prospective customers
- Exhibit at regional vendor shows
- Attend local industry association meetings
- 1099 with uncapped commissions - eat what you kill
- Established territory with potential for growth
- Demo equipment and training provided
- Sell into multiple industries: oil and gas, healthcare, military, government, education, manufacturing, and others
- High demand, low competition niche products
- Direct access to our owner (with 40+ years of experience)- Laid-back, low pressure environment
- Corporate office team handles quote creation, orders, nationwide marketing, tradeshow coordination, and more
- Comfortable with computer software/typing
- Familiar with phone, email, and web conferences
- Able to learn technical instrumentation
- Available during normal business hours
- Motivated to travel in territory regularly (40% travel expected early in career)
- Energetic, self-driven, intelligent
- Experience in sales and/or EHS and IH industry preferred
- Residence in Baton Rouge/New Orleans area preferred
