Job Summary:

CLC Engineering, LLC is an engineering firm, located Alexandria, LA, specializing in civil/structural engineering for high voltage structures in substations and switchyards.

We are looking for a Graduate Civil/Structural Engineer to join our team!

Duties/Responsibilities:

- Candidate must be capable of effective communication, working in a team-oriented manner with strong analytical and organizational skills

- Communicate Effectively with co-workers, vendors, clients, etc.

- The Graduate Civil Engineer will perform engineering and design duties for transmission line or substation design, foundation design, and civil grading of substation sites which require application of engineering principles

- Learn and properly use the document management system

- Take personal responsibility for the quality and accuracy of his/her work

- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

- Understanding of civil engineering principles, practices, and tools.

- Knowledge of steel and concrete design

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to be both creative and analytical, extremely detail-oriented and accurate.

- Desire to gain knowledge and develop skills to improve your work performance

- Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without visa sponsorship

- Must be willing to work in Alexandria, LA at our local office

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical or electrical engineering required

- Some civil engineering experience a plus but not specifically required.

Monday to Thursday: 7:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M, Friday 8 A.M. to 12 P.M.
