Overview

Works in GIS and database applications which model electric utility distribution systems and fiber optic cables. Requires understanding of functional business processes as they relate to design, construction, operations, and a working understanding of data attributes that support these business processes. Requires ability to create a connected model that replicates the electric distribution system. Performs and manages QA/QC processes. Must be available to work emergency and planned overtime.

Experience

- Must have GIS education or certification

- Knowledge of electrical schematics, mechanical troubleshooting, and safety protocols

- Perform crucial safety inspections, diagnose faults, handle gas filling/evacuation, and ensure compliance with technical standards in utility substations.
