Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Helper to join our team. This role is essential in supporting various operations within our facility, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills, contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Responsibilities

- Assist skilled tradespeople in performing their tasks, including setup and operation of machinery.

- Utilize hand tools and equipment safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks.

- Support the assembly, maintenance, and repair of products as directed.

- Follow instructions for plasma cutting, laser cutting, and other machining processes.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.

- Use basic math skills for measurements and calculations as needed.

- Operate cranes or other lifting equipment under supervision when required.

Skills

- Proficiency with hand tools and basic mechanical knowledge.

- Familiarity with plasma cutting and laser cutting techniques is advantageous.

- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.

- Understanding of programming concepts related to machinery operation is a plus.

- Experience with calipers for precise measurements.

- Knowledge of machining processes, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while following safety protocols.
