Global Fueling Systems Inc. is looking for Fueling Facility Wiring/Electrical Service Technician in Long Island, New York.
- 40 hours per week
Global Fueling Systems provides sales, design, repair, and maintenance of oil and gas fluid management systems, and motor vehicle fueling systems.

Do you have experience in any of the following?
- Electrical
- Electronic systems
- HVAC

- High school diploma or equivalency
- Electrical work experience in a petroleum equipment or other related industry preferred
- Low voltage experience preferred
- Good computer/tablet skills; knowledge of networking and computer hardware and software
- Programming, communication & data transfer experience preferred
- Good mechanical aptitude; able to safely operate hand tools
- A valid and clean driver’s license
- Problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communications and customer service skills
- A positive attitude, project a professional tone, and provide clear concise information
- Ability to lead without constant supervision, dependable, dedicated, can-do attitude and willing to work and learn
- Must read, write, speak and understand English with exceptional analytical, communication, and interaction skills
- Willing to work overtime and on-call emergency
- Must be able to wear appropriate PPE in the facility and be able to physically perform all tasks in the field.
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, maintain, and install all electrical systems, alarm systems, fuel equipment wiring, fuel dispensing systems, fuel management systems and various other types of electronic equipment in fueling facility.
- Make recommendations for upgrades, repairs, maintenance, etc.
- Calibrate and modify systems according to site needs
- Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on electronics, computers, and fuel dispensing systems
- Remove, replace and repair electrical wiring, alarms, and sensors of the fuel and tank monitoring systems
- Perform on-site compliance inspections and testing of aboveground and underground tank
- Perform service calls as needed on an after-hours basis
- Respond to emergency calls to complete service requests in a timely manner and ensure all requests are handled in a professional manner
- Resolve warranty calls
- Select materials and parts required to complete assigned repairs.
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely to accomplish the assigned task and Maintain an adequate supply of parts for emergency repairs
- Comprehend customer requirements and assist in diagnosis, analysis and make appropriate recommendations, with an excellent work ethic
- Completes assigned tasks quickly, completely, and consistent with guideline
- Work safely in accordance with OSHA Standards
- Perform required prerequisite work necessary to obtain and maintain certification from original equipment manufacturers
- Any other duties or responsibilities, as assigned
