Underground Coal Miner / Fireboss

JENNMAR Services, is seeking Firebosses for the Grafton AND Philippi, WV areas. Position may help with Black Hat jobs as well.

Job Responsibilities:

- Examining the surface and underground work areas of the mine including airways, bleeders, and belts.

- Identifying hazardous conditions including roof, dust, gas, and equipment.

- Checking and recording gas readings in proper books.

- Conducting pre-shift and on shift examinations.

- Other duties assigned.

Position Requirements:

- WV Foreman or Assistant Foreman Certification.

- Up-to-date annual refresher (preferred).

- Up-to-date WV Foreman Continuing Education (preferred)

- Previous experience firebossing.

- Valid driver's license.
