Position Overview:

Exodus Energy is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Safety Intern interested in developing into a Safety Coordinator role within the power distribution, fiber, electrical, and water services industry. This position provides hands-on experience in job site safety, DOT compliance, and employee operational oversight.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone pursuing a career in construction safety, utility safety, or industrial compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct job site visits to identify hazards and ensure safe work practices

- Observe and verify proper employee operations and PPE usage

- Review vehicles/equipment for DOT compliance and safety requirements

- Assist with safety documentation, reports, and corrective actions

- Support implementation of company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

- Must be 21 years of age or older

- Strong interest in workplace safety and compliance

- Ability to work independently and communicate professionally

- Detail-oriented with strong observation skills

- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record preferred

- Prior construction, utility, or industrial experience is a plus
