We are seeking a skilled and organized Field Coordinator to join our operations team. This role plays a vital part in coordinating daily field activities, managing schedules, ensuring smooth communications between various departments, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent phone communications and will have strong knowledge of pressure services and/or acid hauling operations.
- Answer and manage a high volume of internal and external phone calls
- Coordinate job details and dispatch workers and units to assigned projects
- Create and manage schedules to ensure timely job completion
- Enter and prepare field tickets using internal software programs
- Monitor driver rotations and compliance with Hours of Service requirements
- Ensure all drivers have required documentation
- Communicate with clients regarding job updates and/or delays
- Collaborate with Operations, Safety, Maintenance, and Accounting departments
- Support cross-training within the dispatch group to ensure consistent coverage
- Maintain professionalism and respectful communication with drivers, clients, and co-workers
- Minimum 3 years of experience in dispatch or operations coordination, ideally within the Oil & Gas or industrial services sector
- Working knowledge of pressure services and/or acid hauling operations, and the Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG)
- Proficiency with computers (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to learn new systems
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work extended hours during the busy winter season and respond to client calls after hours while on rotation
