About Red Chris
Our Red Chris Mine, located in the heart of Northern British Columbia on the traditional territory of the Tahltan Nation. A short distance from Iskut and Dease Lake, Our fly-in, fly-out site offers access from various points across British Columbia and Alberta. Red Chris currently operates as an open-pit copper and gold mine with a promising future to transition to a high-value underground block cave operation. Your Impact
In this role, you ensure smooth, efficient, and accurate front‑desk operations while delivering exceptional guest service and reliable support to all onsite departments. You help maintain a positive, safe, and well‑organized environment that keeps daily operations running seamlessly.
As Part of Our Team, You Will
- Coordinate daily with travel, accommodations, maintenance, security, and other site teams to resolve issues quickly and ensure accurate information flow.
- Manage room assignments, check‑ins, check‑outs, luggage weighing, access control, and real‑time occupancy updates.
- Maintain professionalism at the front desk while following site policies, confidentiality expectations, and safety procedures at all times.
- Use booking systems and Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word) to complete daily tasks and generate accurate reports.
- Keep documentation up to date, including logs, shift handovers, occupancy reports, and accommodation audits.
- Communicate changes clearly with the Travel Team to keep accommodation records aligned and up to date.
- Handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment, such as guest inquiries, calls, bookings, and unexpected issues, while maintaining accuracy and composure.
- Raise concerns when you see safety or operational risks, offer ideas for improvement, and stop unsafe work when necessary.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues by actively listening, sharing updates, and ensuring effective team communication.
Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role
Knowledge & Experience- Experience in front desk, hospitality, camp services, or other high‑volume reception environments.
- Experience working with accommodation logistics or travel coordination.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, including formulas, filtering, and basic reporting functions.
- Experience generating operational or occupancy reports.
- Comfort working in remote, camp‑based, or industrial environments.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments.
- Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word).
- Experience with SAP, SAMs, Nomadis
- Ability to operate booking and room‑management systems confidently.
- Ability to perform accommodation audits and prepare accurate documentation.
- Strong time management and task‑prioritization skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot system issues and escalate complex problems appropriately.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License is an asset
- Location: Red Chris Mine in Dease Lake, British Columbia — situated on the traditional territory of the Tahltan Nation
- Schedule: 15/13, fly-in fly-out (FIFO) rotation
- Accommodation: Camp-based lodging with meals, fitness facilities, Wi-Fi, and recreation amenities
This is a front‑desk, onsite position within a remote or camp‑based industrial setting. You will regularly interact with guests, travel teams, maintenance, accommodations, and other operational departments. The role requires consistent presence at the workstation and strong multitasking ability in a busy environment.

- Competitive Pay: Annual salary of $72,700 - $90,900 CAD, plus 10% STIP, commensurate with skills, experience, and internal equity.
