U.P. Fabricating Co Inc is looking to add a full-time fabricator/welder to our team.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine fabrication specifications.

- Utilize hand and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble metal components.

- Perform MIG and TIG welding to join materials, ensuring structural integrity.

- Conduct rigging operations and operate cranes for material handling.

- Maintain a safe and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

- Assist in various other typical metal fabricating shop tasks

Summary

As a Fabricator/Welder, you will be essential to our manufacturing process, utilizing your expertise in blueprint reading and various welding techniques, including MIG and TIG welding. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for fabricating metal components and ensuring high-quality standards are met. Your core skills in welding and fabrication, combined with your premium abilities in operating power tools and cranes, will enable you to contribute effectively to our projects. Additionally, your relevant skills in mechanical knowledge and rigging will enhance our team's overall efficiency and productivity. Join us to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment.

Starting Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour based on experience, performance review after 90 days.

- High school or equivalent

Experience:

- 1 year (Preferred)

Certifications:

- Current Welding Certificates
