Fabrication Shipping Clerk – 1st Shift
Shift: Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 4:30pm
Basic Requirements
•3-5 years of Shipping and Receiving and warehouse experience.
•Excellent communication and organizational skills.
•Excellent time management skills.
•Must be able to operate heavy equipment

Job Functions
Overall Responsibilities: Outgoing Deliveries
•Count, weigh or measure items for outgoing shipments and reconcile with shipping documents, i.e., bills of lading, invoices, orders, pick lists, and other documents for the movement, receipt, or sale of materials and make corrections as necessary to reflect accurate information.
•Process outgoing paperwork in GSS and ensuring Work Order Closures in HSS on sub weldments when shipped
•Direct and manage Fabrication Techs daily activities regarding kitting and shipments.
•Wrap, secure and protect product using proper packaging material to protect during shipment.
•Load materials onto pallets and trucks to optimize space and best utilize freight space. Ensuring proper packaging to ensure no handling and transit damage occurs.
•Examine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications for delivery.
•Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies
Key Job Duties
•Emailing painters with packing slips and closing out paint PO's while coordinating with Painters and Quality on lost or damaged parts
•Coordinate with Quality on wledments that require inspections
•Assist with moving WIP and finished products from Bus, Laser, Break, or Welders
•Maintain Kitting board throughout the week including alignment with weekend shifts for both the Break Press and Welders
•Assist with locating prints or barcodes for work orders and issuing work to welders as needed.
•Checking hot parts and remakes and updating the back logs
•Help in the training of new fabrication Technicians (kitting, banding, wrapping pallets, moving WIP, using visual management boards in weld booths
Returns
•Process returns shipments.
•Notify sourcing when the shipment leaves SPS.
