RESPONSIBILITY:

The primary function of the Facility Machine Maintenance Technician is to work one-on-one with employees and vendors to perform preventative, predictive and routine maintenance on the facility and equipment. The work is to be completed in a safe and efficient method to ensure minimal production downtime and adherence to environmental and safety guidelines.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

- Diagnose root cause of issues and complete repairs on a variety of production and facility equipment

- Develop and use procedures and work instructions which will include diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications which will be used for predicting, troubleshooting, preventing and repairing malfunctions

- Install and set-up new and used manufacturing and facility equipment

- Prioritize and perform multiple tasks with competing deadlines

- Use various facility equipment and tools when necessary

- Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Strong trouble-shooting skills to diagnose machine shop operating issues in complex equipment and machines.

- Strong mechanical aptitude to repair equipment in a timely manner to minimize downtime

- Highly skilled with milling machines including lathes and multi-axis machines.

- Must consistently demonstrated a high sense of urgency

- Strong ability to plan current workload as well as upcoming projects

- Effective collaboration through communication, teamwork and a positive outlook

- Effective interaction and sound judgement decision-making abilities while working with employees and suppliers

- Ability to thrive in a fast paced and changing environment

- Desire to continuously learn and be challenged

- Some computer skills are helpful

Starting wage is based on position, experience and mechanical abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
