The Marketing and Events Coordinator will be responsible for managing the end-to-end planning and execution of SEW’s global field marketing events. This includes strategy, logistics, vendor and partner management, on-site delivery, and post-event optimization.
The ideal candidate is highly organized and thrives in a fast-paced environment. They must be able to juggle multiple projects and timelines, collaborate seamlessly across global teams (sales, product, and leadership), solve problems, and deliver flawless event experiences.
Strategic thinking, proactive planning, and hands-on execution are critical to success in this role.
- End-to-End Event Ownership – Manage all stages of the event lifecycle: pre-event planning, onsite execution, and post-event follow-up including reporting and ROI measurement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with global teams (sales, product, marketing, leadership, and operations) to ensure alignment on event goals, messaging, and execution.
- Budget Management – Track and manage event budgets, ensuring cost efficiency while maximizing impact.
- Marketing Integration – Coordinate with the marketing team to amplify event visibility through campaigns, social media, PR, and digital channels.
- Lead Generation & Reporting – Work with sales to capture, track, and report leads from events, ensuring timely follow-up and measurable ROI.
- Executive & Speaker Coordination – Support C-suite and speakers with briefing materials, talking points, and schedules to ensure seamless participation.
- On-site execution from packing, shipping pre-event to set up and break down at venue post event as needed. Must be able to carry heavy items.
- Post-Event Analysis – Gather feedback, track performance against KPIs, and provide recommendations to continuously improve event strategy and execution.
- Innovation & Trends – Research industry trends and emerging event formats (hybrid/virtual) to keep SEW events cutting-edge and impactful.
- Experience in event planning or event coordination in a corporate environment
- Proven track record of creative, successful events
- Ability to travel to events across the US
- Experience working with colleagues in graphic design, sales, marketing, and communications
- Excellent organizational, communication, negotiating, and multitasking skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain a customer-service mindset
- Bachelor’s degree
- Established relationships with vendors
- Experience in managing budgets and tracking expenses
- Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Acrobat, and Excel
