Energy NL is looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as Events Coordinator. The Events

Coordinator will be responsible for planning and executing Energy NL events as well as engaging Energy NL members to enhance their membership experience.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the successful candidate will be a well-organized, high-energy individual with a member-service focus. Knowledge and experience in membership based not-for-profit organizations and knowledge of the energy industry is an asset. The successful candidate should have

experience planning and managing large-scale events similar to the Energy NL Conference & Exhibition. The successful candidate must be a team player who can also work independently, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and work effectively in an environment where tight deadlines occur regularly.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Coordinate events, including promotion, logistics, and execution

- Assist in the marketing and promotion of events

- Develop and manage relevant budgets

- Work with Energy NL members to maximize the benefits of their membership

- Implement the activities outlined in Energy NL’s Membership Engagement Strategy

- Coordinate member feedback sessions

- Develop and analyze surveys

- Promote and coordinate Energy NL’s Affinity Program

Qualifications & Experience

- Experience in planning and managing events

- Proven customer/member support capability

- Solution oriented with strong problem-solving ability

- Strong communication and presentation skills

- Well-organized and detail oriented

- Proficient in Microsoft Office

- Post-secondary education or equivalent in business or related field
