Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Equipment Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order of all of the High Pressure Die Cast Machines and Trim Die Presses. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, including commercial and industrial cleaning, floor care, and facilities maintenance. Must have mechanical skills.

Responsibilities

- Perform general cleaning and painting of all equipment used in the die casting process. This includes the die cast machines, trim presses and furnaces.

- Conduct floor care around machines using a Steam Jenny.

- Painting projects as needed to enhance the appearance of facilities.

- Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly.

- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in custodial work or commercial cleaning is preferred .

- Knowledge of custodial practices, including floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods.

- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with cleaning duties, including lifting up to 75 pounds as necessary.

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

- Good communication skills and the ability to work well independently or as part of a team.

- Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus.

Hours are Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
