THIS POSITION
We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Environmental Specialist to join our team! As an Assistant Environmental Specialist you will support a team of technical professionals in providing sustainable environmental planning services to clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
•Research, interpret and assist clients with implementing federal, state, and local environmental regulations including air, water, wastewater, storm water, hazardous materials, environmental site assessments, etc.
•Obtain information and prepare compliance documents including Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP), Indirect Source Reviews (ISR), Dust Control Plans (DCP), CEQA/NEPA, etc.
•Produce environmental figures and exhibits.
•Coordinate and perform SWPPP site inspections
•Track regulatory compliance reports and permit renewals
•Obtain approval of environmental applications
REQUIREMENTS
•Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Planning, Earth Science, Environmental Engineering, Geography or in progress
•Qualified SWPPP Practitioner (QSP)/Qualified SWPPP Developer (QSD) Certification preferred
•Proficient in AutoCAD GIS, and other relevant software such as MicroStation
