Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Entry Level Shop Maintenance to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing facility. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance and repair of equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards. This position is ideal for individuals looking to start their career in maintenance with opportunities for growth and skill development.

Responsibilities

•

Assist in the maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment within the manufacturing facility.

•

Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate measurements during repairs and maintenance tasks.

•

Fabricate parts as needed to support ongoing maintenance efforts.

•

Analyze equipment performance and troubleshoot issues using voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.

•

Maintain high voltage systems safely and effectively, adhering to all safety protocols.

•

Support the installation and configuration of logic controllers as part of equipment upgrades or new installations.

•

Document maintenance activities and report any recurring issues to senior technicians for further analysis.

•

Collaborate with team members to ensure a clean and organized work environment.

Skills

•

Basic understanding of electrical systems, including high voltage applications.

•

Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as voltmeters and ohmmeters.

•

Ability to fabricate components as required for maintenance tasks.

•

Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.

•

Knowledge of logic controllers is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential.

•

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety practices in a manufacturing environment.

•

Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
