About Pacific Fusion
Pacific Fusion was founded in 2023 with the mission to power the world with abundant, affordable, clean energy.
We are rapidly designing and building a pulsed magnetic fusion system to achieve net facility gain (more fusion energy output than stored energy input). In parallel, we are developing the key components required to build affordable fusion systems.
Our plans are ambitious. We have raised over $900M so far from incredible investors, resourcing us to deliver on these plans. We are bringing together the best scientists, engineers, and operators from the fusion community, hard tech industry, and other sectors. About The Role
Job Overview:
As Enterprise Systems Director, you will be responsible for the systems that enable the entire supply chain at Pacific Fusion. You will work to build and optimize systems, processes and data to enable the engineers and scientists across the organization as they bring our demonstration system online.
Responsibilities•Oversee all aspects of our procure to pay tool, Coupa
•Oversee the integrations from Coupa to a future Manufacturing Execution Systems tool including master data, inventory management and KPI reporting
•Create weekly reporting to reflect system health and business process performance
•Work across the finance, supply chain and manufacturing teams to create efficiencies in business processes
•Implement modern security practices in all tools in coordination with the Head of IT Security
•Drive the onboarding process for new tools required by members of the engineering and scientific teams
Qualifications
•Experience owning integrations with other supply chain tools such as an MES and an ERP
•Experience guiding the implementation and improvement of supply chain tools
•An immense desire to wield technology to make help the company scale efficiently
Preferred But Not Required
•Experience in both large and small organizations
•Experience working in industries such as: fusion, energy, aerospace, automotive or manufacturing
•Experience working closely with PhD scientists and R&D technology organizations
